A gentle walk around St Sampsons Harbour. Find out how a sleepy fishing village developed into a thriving port. Visit the an ancient parish churchyard, see where Guernsey was once divided into two islands, and where Victor Hugo set his famous novel "Toilers Of The Sea". This walk is lead by either Gill or her collegue Bob.

Length: 1 hours 30 minutes.

Start Location: Meet at All Island Carpets. Perrys ref 11G 3.

Refreshments: Refresments are not included but why not make an evening of it and have supper? An optional meal (advance booking required) is available at L'Oras Restuarant afterwards. Book in advance through your guide to qualify for special discounted price. Private parties can book at days and times to suit them.

Transport: Bus routes 6, 6A, and 7A.

What To Bring: No special requirements.
